چکیده

The main value of amaranth lies in its ability to accumulate a large amount protein seeds and leaves. With seed content 15-18%, surpasses wheat (12-14%), rice (7-10%), maize (9-10%), other grain crops. purpose this study was establish the optimal sowing rates for under conditions Western Ukrainian Forest-Steppe zone. employed general scientific methods such as analysis, synthesis, experimentation, description, observation, comparison, well field like phenological observations record-keeping, along with statistical correlation-regression analyses data processing. variety Kharkivskyi 1 were investigated sufficient moisture on dark-grey forest soil. It found that germination varied different rates. At rate 0.2 million seeds/ha, uniformity 70%, but it decreased 60% at 1.2 representing 10% decrease. Higher resulted greater plant density. In seedling stage, there 14 plants per seeds/ha rate, while number increased 72/m². Plant survival during vegetation period sharply planting density, from 86% 45% seeds/ha. Therefore, before harvesting, density adjusted 12-32 plants/m². best combination elements structure be 21 plants/m² 26 plants/m², weight 20.4g 16.1g, respectively. highest yield obtained 0.4 0.6 resulting 4.28 t/ha 4.20 t/ha, Any increase or decrease led level. results can used further establishment improvement cultivation technology by both institutions agricultural farms
